Hello!

We are Nick, Cassie, Juniper and Rio Shimp. Our family recently moved to Flowerfield township. We are in the process of renovating a farm house built in 1886, located on Flowerfield Creek. The home originally marked the location of the Flowerfield Mill. Rumor has it, the home may have even served as a stop on the Underground Railroad. Our family instantly fell in love with the property's rich history and natural beauty.

One of the biggest things that drew us to this wonderful place was our passion for small scale sustainable agriculture and homesteading. Our family's goal is to work towards revitalizing the landscape, growing most of our own food and creating a living from our land. We would like to invite you to join us on this journey!

THANK YOU!

Thank you all so much for your continued support. As we face the challenges that lay ahead your support is invaluable. Thank you for being a part of our small family farm !

This is now our 5th season here at the farm! We are primarily a cut flower farm, specializing in quality fresh cut blooms. Along with our bouquets we have added on farm workshops and a small batch candle line. Read on below about the different aspects of our business.

On farm WORKSHOPS

My absolute favorite addition to our farm in the 2021 season were our on farm workshops. Each month we will be hosting creative, garden related workshops in the upstairs of our rustic barn. If weather permits we will also take a farm tour! This winter look out for our monthly candle bars. I am SO excited for you to see our candle making process and for you to mix and match your own fragrances! As we move into spring we will be preparing for our DIY garden workshops (cut flower OR veggie). These will be a few hours long as we hands on, deep dive into basics for starting your own garden. Plant starts and mock garden plan included. In the summer months we will host fresh flower arranging workshops. As we fade into fall we will start working with dried florals for our Dried Flower Wreath workshop. And of course for the holidays we plan to continue with our Fresh Evergreen Workshops and are thinking of adding on holiday centerpieces too! All workshop tickets will be available on our online shop about 6-8 weeks out from the event.
